The Wilderness Photography Foundation is a vision, created for and by nature photographers. Currently, there are just a handful of us volunteering our time. We need help from you, to expand the idea that the growing popularity of nature photography can be used as a positive influence towards realizing the importance of preserving the natural eco-systems and wildlife we still have remaining. If you enjoy Nature Photography, then help the WPF raise it towards a new level of importance.

Our goal is for these exhibitions to do more than showcase exceptional fine art nature photography. We aim to spark something deeper, to move viewers from appreciation to action. We hope the experience is not only enjoyable and meaningful, but truly transformative. We encourage everyone to engage with at least one conservation effort that brings personal meaning and value to their life. Whether through your time, voice, creativity, expertise, or resources, your contribution matters. By taking action, you help preserve our natural world and set an example for future generations. Our collective actions have the power to inspire wonder, ignite conversation, challenge assumptions, connect diverse perspectives, and imagine new possibilities. Most importantly, they can motivate meaningful action and that is where real change begins.

Individual Involvement

The Wilderness Photography Foundation is built entirely on volunteer dedication. Every member contributes their time and expertise without compensation, transforming a shared vision into a growing and impactful initiative. Until now, the foundation’s expenses have been covered by the personal contributions of a small group of volunteers. These costs include website hosting, software, graphic design, printing and framing, marketing, travel, and outreach to galleries. As we continue to grow, these expenses will exceed what a few individuals can sustain. That’s where you can make a difference. When many individuals contribute, even in small amounts, the collective impact becomes powerful. Your support helps us reach more people, raise awareness, and inspire lasting change.
