Our Mission
Using the visual power of photography to increase awareness of the beauty and value of wilderness and wildlife toward encouraging action to protect and preserve wild spaces.
GOAL ONE
The Wilderness Photography Foundation is for individuals with the same heart felt concerns towards environmental and conservational problems facing a complacent society. It is our goal to bring the beauty and importance of nature, wildlife and our ecosystems to the forefront of the decision-making process by increased exposure through photography and involvement within affected communities through sponsored events.
GOAL TWO
The premise of this appeal is to incite a compelling sense of discovery and contribution from the public at large by promoting the curiosity and sense of wonder an individual personally experiences when exposed to the natural world and the life altering advantages which spending time within nature provides.
GOAL THREE
The Wilderness Photography Foundation will be working to coordinate and create beneficial results from the growing popularity in Nature Photography. Photography is the primary venue for this project to raise public awareness towards the environment, as well as to heighten the benefits and impacts of our personal coexistence with nature.
