IN MEMORIAM

Patrick O’Healy

Patrick had a unique and distinctive passion and talent for photography.
We lost Patrick on February 11, 2023 after a short battle with cancer.
His image ‘Fledge with Dad’ was voted ‘Best in Show’ at the Sautee Nacoochee Center Gallery in Helen Georgia during the 2023-2024 Tour, and we are honored to have his works again in the 2026-2028 Tour.

Jenn Cardinell

IN MEMORIAM

Jenn Cardinell was a founding member of the Wilderness Photography Foundation who found joy in photographing whatever inspired her. She was best known for her wildlife imagery, and especially for her deep affection for the Red Foxes of Georgia for whom she worked tirelessly toward awareness and protection of their habitat. Jenn’s talent, dedication, and generous spirit were an inspiration to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her photograph Happy to See Mom’ became an overwhelming favorite in the People’s Choice Award voting and was selected as Best in Show for the entire 9 Gallery 2023–2024 Nature’s Generosity Tour.

We deeply miss Jenn’s contributions, her participation, and her motivating smile, and we are honored to once again include her work in the 2026–2028 Traveling Exhibition for all to experience and enjoy.

Jenn lived by her conviction:
“If you have a skill that can help someone in need, it’s important to do so.”
